The customer is a large logistics company that needed to get back on track, providing efficient service while growing its business.

Increased volume of work caused their staff to work till late hours in the evening. This led to mistakes in the process, overtime costs as well staff turnover.

Project objective
A rapidly growing finance company providing working capital solutions to small and medium sized businesses needed software to manage their operations. The software needed to flexible and scalable commensurate with their growth.

Critical issue
The nearest off-the-shelf offering, besides having an astronomical cost, also fell short of providing a complete solution.

VBridge Reduces the Gap
VBridge developed customized software for the company, providing full functionality at a fraction of the cost. In addition the software mapped the company’s operational workflow, tracking the flow of paper, so that everyone involved knew the status of the action being taken towards a decision and job completion.

There was increased efficiency in the operational process and accountability within staff. The web-based software is used both by their internal staff as well as their customers, resulting in improved customer service.

Process
The software is a multi-user system for asset-backed lending and factoring. The system provides management and monitoring of a lenders’ portfolio of borrowers’ accounts receivable, inventory and other assets. The system produces a variety of reports for lender management and borrower such as receivables ageing, delinquent accounts, and payment received, fees and charges summaries and various non-compliance alerts. The system was developed VB.Net, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server
