| Customer :Investment Bank: USA Project objective The Bank needed an automated compliance framework for all trades as well as calculate commissions for introducing brokers. Critical issue The compliance had to be managed better, within the regulatory framework. How much money was being made on each trade? This had to be known in a timely manner. The system had to be integrated with Pershing, which was their trade capture system. VBridge Reduces the Gap VBridge was engaged in a consulting cycle to analyze existing process and map trade flow, and re-engineer the process including building the software. One of the key suggestions made by us was to link the compliance exceptions to introducing brokers’ commissions so that all exceptions could be cleared within the stipulated time frame, as there was a financial incentive for the broker to do that. Benefit Efficiency has improved as the commissions payable have become automated. There is quicker information about profitability of each trade. Compliance management has improved. Process The development was done in MS .Net, VB.Net, SQL Server, BizTalk, Office 2003 (Info Path, SmartTags), and MS OLAP Customer : Healthcare Provider: USA Project objective This company engaged us: Critical issue To create brand awareness for a start–up company and to strategize its product to a niche target market. VBridge Reduces the Gap We recommended designing an integrated practice management and Electronic Medical Record software eliminating duplicate data entry of the same information (Normally the same information would have to be entered on two discrete systems: one for practice management and the other, electronic medical record system). In addition we recommended positioning the product for primary care physician market to dovetail the company’s resources with a market which was large and easy to reach for the company. This was achieved by getting the product certified by CCHIT and using that pivot to position the product and the team as competent and knowledgeable and experts in their field. Support and delivery capabilities were used as unique value propositions for fulfillment and the start-up and small company structure was turned into an asset by communicating flexibility and nimbleness. Benefit The company could position itself and its the product differently from competition in a very short span of time without any major expense in marketing dollars. It was able to target its niche customer base effectively. |
